Magnificence in the Desert

Let Me tell you what I see as I look inside you Beloved.

You see barrenness in your soul; dry, parched, thirsty ground. But I see a flower blooming, having pushed through a crack in the hardened earth.

The cracks are your injuries, your suffering, your wounding, Beloved, but look at the pure white petals on the flower; purity has survived the drought and has emerged through the pain. Purity for pain, beauty for barrenness, life for desolation, gentleness in the midst of harsh adversity.

See how strong and healthy, glad and cheerful the flower is? See how it dances in the breeze? There is a never failing supply of living water underneath the dry, cracked earth. The flower drinks from this source.

You saw drought because you looked on the surface, but look down deeper with Me; let us look under the surface. Look at the surging river of living water; see how fast it moves! Feel the power of the water! You never once dried out!

You observed your circumstances and saw the dearth of rain; you watched your once lush land become a desert in the drought. But all of this is on the surface. None of these things matter! What matters is what is underneath, what is not visible to the naked eye.

Can I not turn the desert into springs of water? Can I not carpet the desert in beauty, in living flowers of brilliant colours? Can I not call to the birds of the air to come and sing over the desert land once again? Yes Beloved! But do not despise the small beginnings for already a flower has pushed through the surface and bloomed. There is already beauty to be seen in the parched desert land!

Keep your ears tuned on the sound of rushing waters under the surface for is not My voice the roar of many waters? Does My voice not thunder like mighty ocean waves? And you know My voice. So still yourself to hear My voice within you.

My Spirit of Life is the substance of the water, the power of the water, and My Spirit of life is within you so do not look only to the surface, to your circumstances, but continue to look deeper. For I AM the mighty, rushing waters under the surface! And I will cause your desert to bloom again.

There are seeds you have forgotten about. They are so small, hidden in the cracks of the earth, that you do not see them. But they are there; I see them. And they shall not be without water. At the sound of My voice, at the sound of rushing waters- this Living Water within you- they will spring up into life.

Magnificence will colour the wasteland, splendour will cover the dry, barren land. The colours will be so vivid and stunning, this very desert land you look upon will be a display of My glory! Watch and see, watch and see!

Battle Scars

A couple of nights ago I felt God show me something for someone. For someone who is battle worn, who bears the scars of battle, of many battles in fact. I felt that because of the scars they bear they feel like a misfit wherever they go. They do not fit in, they do not blend in. In fact they stand out because of their battle scars and people are afraid of them, because most people do not see scars as pretty or beautiful. They despise the scars borne by this one. They fear being afflicted and scarred by battle so they despise the scars, even revile them and reject the one who bears the scars of many battles. They especially look with disdain at the deep scars of long term affliction.

I felt that The Father said;

Why do you despise battle scars Beloved? Not everyone who sees them fears them, I know those who do not fear or despise them and who will not reject you because of your scars.

There will be some who will be drawn to you because of your scars Beloved. They will see that you have survived that which could have killed you and they will come and listen to you. They will hear an authority in your voice because you have lived through battles and survived. Although you do not believe this yet you have become stronger through these battles.

So why do you fear the scars? You want Me to remove them but I want to paint them in gold! As you bathe in My light see how they shine and sparkle! They are very beautiful to Me! They speak of endurance, of the courage to live, of the strength within you and of the will to withstand what you know you must not accept in your life. They speak of determination, of faith and of hope. It was because of the solid hope within you that you endured, because of your faith, more precious than gold, that you withstood the attacks and wrestled with the enemy of your soul. These scars are very beautiful My love. See how you feel about them once I have kissed them all! You will be able to sing of My comfort.

There will come a time when you no longer despise the scars for you will speak of the battles fought and endured, and of the victory you came out with, and My glory will shine out of the scars which you consider to be so ugly. Consider the scars as windows giving a glimpse into your soul. I am bathing you in My light and glory and your soul shall shine with My light and My light shall break forth out of you. Did I not say that you are the light of the world?

Scriptures:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire–may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1:7

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth– for your love is more delightful than wine. Song of Songs 1:2

You Shall Not Be Burned!

Did I not say that the flames could not harm you Beloved? Then why do you cower between the flames expecting them at any moment to devour you?

I have dressed you in a robe of righteousness- see! It is fireproof! Look at the grace in which you stand.

Lift your eyes from the ground and look through the flames towards Me. I see you Beloved and I know the ordeal which you are going through. But think it not strange when you pass through fiery trials for they come to test those whose hearts belong to Me. The weight of the fire you walk through will determine the weight of glory that will be revealed in you!

You shall not stay bewildered Beloved for I shall send My Spirit of fire to separate out the flames and hold them back from you. His fire shall burn stronger and shall provide a covering for you from enemy fire. The light of His flame shall bring revelation to you! The light of the fire shall reveal to you My hidden plan.

All that the enemy has set fire to is burning but nothing of which I have destined or put aside for you shall burn! The flames shall do no harm. Look and see, no harm will befall you.

As you walk through the fire towards Me, I shall bend the flames and cause the light of the fire to illuminate the traps and pitfalls that have been set for you and you shall have a clear view of your surroundings and you shall be given knowledge and understanding of the situation you are in. I would not have allowed this fire to burn if I did not intend to bring good out of it My love.

The fire crackling around you was intended to distract you from Me. It is fear. Its purpose was to make you turn around and run. But there is no reward for turning away and running My dear one. I have your reward here with Me and I am calling you to step forward, one step at a time through the flames. The flames cannot harm you!

This is a time for you to step into your identity and to walk courageously. With each step you take toward Me your identity will take root inside you. The knowledge of your identity will become embedded in you. You shall see that you are My child for I shall not allow the flames to harm you. Do not fear them. Never fear the flames; let them burn and keep walking.

Others will see the steps you take through your fiery trial. They will be encouraged and they too shall walk towards Me because of the faith they see in you.

Walk through the tunnel of flames and step into your inheritance in Me. Your times are in My hand.

Do not look back Beloved. Keep your eyes fixed on Me and My peace shall extend to you like a river. A river of peace to keep you from being devoured by the flames of fear!

All is well for you are Mine and I am ready to show Myself strong on your behalf. Take courage and you will see My deliverance outworked in your life. You will see the salvation of your God.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Hebrews 10:39

“Know ye not that they who run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.” 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:12-13

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15

Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:13

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8:14-17

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

“At present you may be temporarily harassed by all kinds of trials. This is no accident. It happens to prove your faith which is infinitely more valuable than gold.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 (Phillips)

But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. “The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.” Exodus 14:13-14

Golden Thread / Hope of Glory

I am weaving a golden thread of hope into your soul, Beloved. This golden thread will sparkle and shine brightly in your life; it will give you a new outlook.

I have not finished writing your story Beloved! In this chapter we have come to you will see Me weaving this golden thread of hope into your life. It will shine amidst the dark threads, yes it will even be highlighted by the dark threads in your life’s tapestry.

This golden thread will hold your soul together. You will no longer be torn apart for I am mending your soul; I am sewing it back together.

You feel that your soul is filled with darkness; with the darkness of hopelessness, but you will look at your situation in a new light and you will see hope wherever you look! The dark threads serve as a background to the golden glory, the hope of glory, that I am mending your soul with.

You are asking what this golden thread is, this hope of glory, aren’t you Beloved? You wonder how you will notice it? How will you know it is there? The answer is Me! Look for Me, My love! Look to Me; the mystery I am unveiling to you is Christ in You, the hope of glory!

Others will see the hope of glory in your soul; they will see Me! I am the golden thread of hope in your soul! I am the hope of glory within you, holding you together.

Trust Me; yield to Me! Let go of everything that is not of Me and hold on to Me! This golden thread will shine ever brighter within you; your soul will be flooded with light!

You are the light of the world, Beloved, for I am the Light of the World within you! And I have unveiled your face so that you may see Me and so that others will see My glory shining out of you!

Look to Me and your face will be radiant! I am taking you from glory to glory! You shall come forth as gold!

“…the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:26-28

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe….And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:17-19, 22, 23

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:16-21
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory– Romans 9:23

“…whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:5

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrews 1:3

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

“…we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.” Hebrews 6:18-20

“But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him. When he is at work in the north, I do not see him; when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” Job 23:8-10
