Last night I felt that the Holy Spirit prompted me to think of Mary kissing Jesus’ feet and wiping her tears from them with her hair and of Martha’s sister Mary who sat at the Lord’s feet while Martha busied herself (possibly the same Mary?) Then I felt that Jesus was inviting us to His feet. I see the feet of Jesus as being so beautiful and precious. So clean and strong and I would love to be able to touch them. This is what I felt the invitation was like. Something like this…
Come to My feet, Beloved. Come and worship. You may hold my feet; I do not draw back or pull away. I do not flinch at having tear-stained feet, nor do I recoil when hair mops the tears. I do not withdraw when My feet are kissed with many kisses. Neither do I recoil when burning hot, or cold, pale cheeks, are pressed against them. Lay your head on My feet Beloved. See what I will reveal to you.
I respond to love Beloved. I am drawn to love. I engage fully with a heart of worship. I meet love with love.
Come and hold My feet My love. Stay here a while. Come and see what I will show you here. With your face pressed down and falling tear-soaked hair; come!
Tell Me what you feel Beloved. Do you feel accepted? Do you feel valued? Do you feel understood? In this place you know that I accept you as you are. I allow you to touch My feet, to kiss My feet, to hold My feet. I allow you to rest your head against My feet, soak them with your tears and mop them with your hair. I do not shrink away from humility but I raise the humble! Now I am raising you!
My hand of blessing is on your head, My hand of favour; I am imparting strength to you. You are infused with strength for I have blessed you Myself!
Now take My other hand Beloved, here it is; take a hold. I am extending My hand to you, responding to your love. I am meeting your love and uniting with your love; I receive your worship and inhale your adoration like a sweet perfume.
You came empty handed, feeling you had nothing adequate to give Me, but your adoration, your worship, your heart of love is worth more to Me than many jars of costly perfume! I love you Beloved! I am embracing your love.
Now rise and look Me in the eyes; let Me gaze into your soul. Do not fear the fire of My gaze for My eyes are on fire for you! This fiery passion in My soul is for you! I created you and I love you! I have more love to give you than you have ever considered! You have not yet comprehended the depths or intensity of My love for you!
Let Me search your soul Beloved. I will search you thoroughly as you have asked. My gaze will be like a floodlight in your soul! It will be like the noon day sun!
I will now tell you what I see as I look inside you My love – innocence! I see innocence; there is no guilt within you! When I took your guilt I drank up every last drop. You, Beloved are innocent!
Is not My blood for the remission of sins? I drank from your cup and you drink from Mine. Take and drink My blood; let us enjoy sweet communion together. For you My blood was shed, for you My body was broken. I became the guilty one and you are declared innocent!

She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42
