The Seed/Bursting with Joy

I pictured Jesus doing some gardening! He had a trowel in His hand. He was uncovering a seed that had been hidden for a long, long time. It should have been uncovered and started to grow by now but it was not sprouting. Jesus spoke to the little seed in an encouraging voice and shifted the earth on top of it so that it could be exposed to the light and warmth of the sun.

The soil tickled the tiny seed and it started to laugh as the soil moved around it. As it began to laugh it suddenly began to sprout and shoots of life burst through it’s shell. It was erupting with joy!

For so long it had been forgotten and hidden away that it was very afraid of popping its head up into the light, fearing the scorn of other seeds because it was so much smaller than they. But now it was bursting out and breaking through with joy and laughter, soaking in the encouragement and kindness of Jesus. Jesus was so tenderly removing the soil from the seed and the seed felt so loved.

So the seed sprang up and uncurled its leaves and there appeared beautiful and bright butterflies coming as if to kiss its leaves. They landed on it, crowning the young plant with beauty. A ring of bright butterflies sat at the top of the plant as a garland of beauty.

Jesus smiled and said, “See little flower, there was nothing to fear! You are beautiful to Me and I have put laughter in your veins! Laugh little plant for your laughter sings out into the atmosphere that all is well. All is well because I AM your gardener. You grow in My garden and I tend to you. You worried that you would be smaller than the other plants and your flowers not as beautiful or fragrant but look how the butterflies of grace clothe you, kiss you and crown you. You are My trophy. I have waited to see your face for a long time. And here you are and you are no disappointment to me. You are just as I planned, just as I anticipated and I love you! Welcome to My paradise garden! Breathe in the air of My Spirit and drink in the Water of Life. Never forget that you came forth with joy so always rejoice and be glad. Noone can take your joy from you”.

Eternity is within you. I am your Song in the Night!

This morning as I reflected on a couple of visions I had recently I felt God saying this…

Speak to the darkness Beloved; kingdoms will shake and kingdoms will fall.

Step forward; advance; and the sea of dark shadows will split apart! Keep your eyes straight ahead, don’t look back, keep moving. I have given them a boundary they cannot cross. They see your faith and can only retreat, creating a path for you.

As you move forward don’t be intimidated by the dark shadows. They may snarl and jeer and scream and spit, shaking their fists. They may glare at you with their haunted eyes, towering over you on either side, looming like a threatening wave of thick darkness. But they cannot harm you!

They see the Lamb’s blood you are marked with. They see your robe of righteousness, they see the crown I hold in My hand for you. They must make way for you because I have given you authority over them.

They have feared the day you would recognise the authority I have given you and the identity I gave you, which I never stop speaking over you. That is why their attacks were relentless. They tried to drown out My voice and weary you with assault after assault so that they could consume you. But I have become your song in the nighttime. And you have learnt to recognise My whispers and the love songs I sing to you.

You embrace and engage with My songs of victory, taking up the song and singing it out, and now they can only snarl and gnash their teeth. Victory is yours Beloved! I am your victory song and I am singing victory over you. I am singing deliverance over you! I am singing faith to you, hope to you, love to you and you are stepping forward, following the song, moving closer and closer towards the Source of the song.

You listen for where the song is birthed and you move towards it, towards Me. I am waiting to embrace you. My song embraces you every day, wrapping itself around you, caressing you, kissing you with golden light, but the day is coming where we shall embrace, heart to heart, cheek to cheek, arms entwined. You will never be separated from Me but you will step fully into My kingdom, into eternity where you will never know fear or sorrow or death again. Your joy will never diminish!

I have inscribed eternity on your heart and put it within your soul, like a glowing light that prevents the darkness around you from ever becoming fully dark. There is always a glow because eternity is within you. I am eternity! I am eternal life!

Your light shall never go out but it shall grow brighter within you, outshining the sun, and My glory shall not depart from you. I am the King of Glory and I inhabit you! You are My temple. Sing My love! Sing your songs; sing them out in the dark night! For eternity stored within your heart will shine out as bright as day!

Eternity can never be robbed from you My love. The dark shadows of the Night didn’t give it to you and therefore they cannot take it away! Rejoice Beloved! Rejoice and sing and keep moving forward! The bandit that lurks in the darkness cannot rob you of eternity. He can only watch you walk on by! And with the light of eternity kindling in your heart he cannot steal your peace or joy! Though he appears in the daytime as a messenger of light, his voice will be that of a stranger. His twisted words of deceit bring confusion but you are My sheep; a sheep of My pasture, and you know the Shepherd’s voice; you know His song.

Always follow His song Beloved, always heed His whispers. My goodness and mercy are following you; every day of your life! They are ushering you towards Me, to My house, where you will dwell with Me forever!

Scriptures:

Psalm 23

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me. 8The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 47:2

Come to My Feet…

Last night I felt that the Holy Spirit prompted me to think of Mary kissing Jesus’ feet and wiping her tears from them with her hair and of Martha’s sister Mary who sat at the Lord’s feet while Martha busied herself (possibly the same Mary?) Then I felt that Jesus was inviting us to His feet. I see the feet of Jesus as being so beautiful and precious. So clean and strong and I would love to be able to touch them. This is what I felt the invitation was like. Something like this…

Come to My feet, Beloved. Come and worship. You may hold my feet; I do not draw back or pull away. I do not flinch at having tear-stained feet, nor do I recoil when hair mops the tears. I do not withdraw when My feet are kissed with many kisses. Neither do I recoil when burning hot, or cold, pale cheeks, are pressed against them. Lay your head on My feet Beloved. See what I will reveal to you.

I respond to love Beloved. I am drawn to love. I engage fully with a heart of worship. I meet love with love.

Come and hold My feet My love. Stay here a while. Come and see what I will show you here. With your face pressed down and falling tear-soaked hair; come!

Tell Me what you feel Beloved. Do you feel accepted? Do you feel valued? Do you feel understood? In this place you know that I accept you as you are. I allow you to touch My feet, to kiss My feet, to hold My feet. I allow you to rest your head against My feet, soak them with your tears and mop them with your hair. I do not shrink away from humility but I raise the humble! Now I am raising you!

My hand of blessing is on your head, My hand of favour; I am imparting strength to you. You are infused with strength for I have blessed you Myself!

Now take My other hand Beloved, here it is; take a hold. I am extending My hand to you, responding to your love. I am meeting your love and uniting with your love; I receive your worship and inhale your adoration like a sweet perfume.
You came empty handed, feeling you had nothing adequate to give Me, but your adoration, your worship, your heart of love is worth more to Me than many jars of costly perfume! I love you Beloved! I am embracing your love.

Now rise and look Me in the eyes; let Me gaze into your soul. Do not fear the fire of My gaze for My eyes are on fire for you! This fiery passion in My soul is for you! I created you and I love you! I have more love to give you than you have ever considered! You have not yet comprehended the depths or intensity of My love for you!

Let Me search your soul Beloved. I will search you thoroughly as you have asked. My gaze will be like a floodlight in your soul! It will be like the noon day sun!

I will now tell you what I see as I look inside you My love – innocence! I see innocence; there is no guilt within you! When I took your guilt I drank up every last drop. You, Beloved are innocent!

Is not My blood for the remission of sins? I drank from your cup and you drink from Mine. Take and drink My blood; let us enjoy sweet communion together. For you My blood was shed, for you My body was broken. I became the guilty one and you are declared innocent!

She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42

As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors. Let my beloved come into his garden

Will you cry with Me for the broken?

Will you cry with Me for the broken? For the wounded who do not know that I am a safe place to turn to?

There are so many who exist in a state of hopelessness and despair. They do not realise that I Am there.

When they lie down at night I lay My head on their chest and listen to their heart beat. When they wake in the morning I collect their tears and whisper to them, “There is hope, look to the Light”.

I love them so much. I want to heal them. Some of them shut out My voice because they are in so much pain. They think that I have failed them. Do you believe that I have failed them Beloved? Do you believe that I have failed you? Ever?

I know you don’t see the full picture so it is hard for you to understand some things. But I cannot fail. I cannot fail a single one who puts their trust in Me. It is not in My nature.

Will you sing my songs of hope and love into their life? I will give you the songs to sing. You are My song, Beloved. You are expression of My love.

Will you sit with them, representing Me, so that I may soak up their pain and comfort them? Will you be a hand for them to hold in their dark night? Will you gently whisper hope back into their soul? Will you carry My fragrance to them? I want to comfort them. Will you take My oil to them to soothe their wounds?

Rainbow Kisses

When I was praying in the night I had a picture play out on the screen of my mind. I saw a rainbow over Jesus’ Beloved. A rainbow is symbolic of God’s promises, His covenant with us. As I have mentioned before I refer to Jesus’ Beloved as a “she” because Song of Solomon talks of Jesus’ Beloved being His bride. This is the symbolism I like to go with. The bride in Song of Solomon is symbolic of one that Jesus loves, male or female.

I was particularly drawn to the colour yellow in the rainbow. I saw lips and eyes at the top of the bend in the colour yellow and somehow the yellow light expanded and moved forward and came right up to Jesus’ beloved, then kissed her on the forehead. The lips planted themselves on her forehead for a moment and then I saw this golden oil dripping down her face from the kiss on her forehead. It was a light, soothing, sweet, golden oil and sparkled in the light as if it contained tiny, suspended nuggets of gold inside it. I felt that it was symbolic that it was placed as a kiss on her forehead, over her mind. It was symbolic of her being given the mind of Christ, through the anointing oil and warm golden light she was kissed with.

“Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

I felt that the face in the yellow light was symbolic of the Holy Spirit who flowed towards the beloved as light and oil and kissed her, anointed her, with the mind of Christ.

Then I saw the orange light in the rainbow expand and stream towards her. The orange light in the rainbow stretched towards her and kissed her on the lips. It left a sweet taste of the most delicious and nourishing honey on her lips. I felt this was symbolic of the sweetness of God’s word. This honey fed her soul and revived her.

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103

Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 24:14

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8

The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Psalm 19:9,10

I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread. Job 23:12

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth– for your love is more delightful than wine. Song of Songs 1:2

Then I saw Jesus standing by the rainbow. He filtered off some of the blue colour and it flowed out of the rainbow like water. I felt this was symbolic of the water of life. He brought it to His Beloved in a crystal glass and gave it to her to drink. She felt totally refreshed and full of life and strength. I think blue also represents heaven and felt that the kingdom of heaven was inside her, through drinking the living water. It helped her to be heavenly minded and set on eternity, not temporal things.

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” John 4:10

“…but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:14

Then Jesus took a strand of light out of the red rainbow light. He tied it as a bow in His beloved’s hair. He tied it so lovingly and tenderly that it was a constant reminder to her of His love and affection for her. She became known as the one who Jesus loved.

I felt this red ribbon was symbolic of the scarlet cord in the scriptures eg Rahab’s scarlet cord which was symbolic of Jesus’ blood, saving her from destruction. And the scarlet cord mentioned in Leviticus 14:4-6; 49-52. The cleansing of lepers mentioned here, with the scarlet ribbon, is symbolic of the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood. It is also mentioned in Hebrews 9:19.

Where the yellow oil and golden honey colours appeared to overlap in the rainbow it looked like the colour of fire. Jesus scooped up some of the fire in His hand and wrapped it around her head! This, I felt was to protect her mind. It also spoke of His fiery passion towards her.

“Put me like a seal over your heart, Like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is as severe as Sheol; Its flashes are flashes of fire, The very flame of the LORD. “Many waters cannot quench love, Nor will rivers overflow it; If a man were to give all the riches of his house for love, It would be utterly despised.” Song of Songs 8:7

“So watch yourselves, that you do not forget the covenant of the LORD your God which He made with you, and make for yourselves a graven image in the form of anything against which the LORD your God has commanded you. “For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. Deuteronomy 4:24

For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Zechariah 2:5

“Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” Jeremiah 23:29

Then Jesus appeared to take a paintbrush and dip it in the purple light. He painted His beloved so that her clothes were a purple shade. I felt this was symbolic of the kingly anointing. He wanted her to walk and operate as royalty, as queen.

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelation 5:9,10

Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father… Revelation 1:6

Then I saw Jesus taking green strands of light and breaking them up into tiny pieces like grass. He laid them before her feet like a carpet of soft green grass. I felt this grass laid out for her on the wasteland was symbolic of new life, a new day of destiny springing up around her. He created a fertile field for her, a path of peace, and the green colour was a comfort to her. It was such a delight for her to walk on that she ran and danced and leapt around like a deer.

Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. Isaiah 35:6-8

Arise, My dearest!
Come with Me, My darling!
I have come as you have asked
To lift you up and lead you out!
For now is the time, My beautiful one.
Can you not discern this new day of destiny
Breaking forth around you?
The early signs of My purposes and plans
Are bursting forth all around you.
The budding vines of new life
Are now blooming everywhere;
The fragrance of their flowers tells us
There is change in the air.
Arise, My dearest darling
And let us run to the higher place.
For now is the time to arise
And come away with Me!
The Most Amazing Song of All 2:10, 13

“Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. “Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18,19

The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing. Isaiah 43:19

They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water. Isaiah 43:10

See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you. Isaiah 42:9

The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God. Isaiah 35:1, 2

Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. Psalm 96:2

“till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest. The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.” Isaiah 32:15-17
